Zofia is a member of the Chartered Institute of Linguists. She translates between Polish and English and specialises in law and business. She works across a range of sectors and supports organisations in managing the complexities of their inter- and intralingual communication.
Zofia studied translation at Queen’s University Belfast and management at Poznan University of Economics and Business. Zofia directs Intracontext®, drawing on her international experience of managing translation and localisation projects.
Highly skilled in delivering complex legal translations, Zofia is recognised as an official sworn Polish translator and entered into the register of sworn translators kept by the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Poland.
Zofia is also an appointed Polish medical interpreter for the Belfast Health and Social Care (HSC) Trust. She delivers services in the community, at hospitals and non-HSC settings, at public meetings, and for learning and development purposes.
Junior Assistant
Jane fills a supporting role in managing post office runs, shadowing project management, conducting research and developing social media concepts.
A Special Merit student, Jane excels academically. She is involved in Model United Nations and the All Ireland Linguistics Olympiad. She is also establishing a school newspaper club to further her passion for writing.
An athlete, Jane represents her school in cross country at the District and Ulster Championships and trains as a coxswain for the rowing team.
Outside school, Jane studies Polish and plays the piano. She also trains with a running club and rides horses, both of which are her favourite hobbies.
